Grades 4 - 8
Calling all aspiring carpenters, our Outdoor Woodshop is the place to be this summer!!
We’ve got lumber, nature’s finest building material! Come work with our master craftsman to develop proper woodworking skills such as reading the wood, cutting accurately, and using a saw and other hand tools safely and properly. Then send wood chips and sawdust flying as we practice what we learn in order to build objects of skilled craftsmanship. Campers will complete several projects over the course of two weeks such as building a sawhorse, crafting a bird house, making toy and storage containers, and see their projects come to life from the first cut to the last polish. This is an aspiring builder’s dream!
*Campers must attend the safety orientation on the first day of the session
